SUMMARY:The Climb's First Indoor Wall Climbing Competition
DESCRIPTION:THE CLIMB\nROCK CLIMBING COMPETITION\n  \nJULY 14-15\, 5pm to 8pm Time Trial Eliminations \nJULY 28\, 5pm to 8pm Time Trials Eliminations \nJULY 29\, 2pm to 8pm Climb Off \n  \nREGISTRATION \nJULY 11 – 18\, 2018\, 10am to 8pm \nAt The Climb Center Court \nAgana Shopping Center \n$35 ENTRY FEE  \n(Get a free shirt and four practice climbs from Mon to Fri 11pm to 8pm) \n  \n5% of the proceeds will benefit the Overhang Club- Guam Rock Climbers and cavers for the improvement & maintenance of public climbing routes. \n  \nRULES\n  \n\nClimbers have to wait in holding area until it is their turn to climb to make it fair for the climbers before them so the competitors cannot see how the person before them climbed the route.\nWhen climbing you are only allowed to use the designated routes and holds with features of the wall. Points will be taken away for using non-designated holds or footsteps 2 seconds for each offense.\nAll climbers must wear shoes & harness while climbing in the competition. No sandals or Zoris. If you have your own climbing shoes and harness bring with you. We will not have any shoes\nClimbers get 2 minutes to observe the climbing wall to check out the routes that they are going to be climbing.\nEach climber gets 2 attempts to complete the climb.\n\nThe climb with the fastest time will be used for the final score. \n  \n  \nALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL \n  \nThere are 4 climbing groups they are all co-ed \nChildren 4 to 10 \nTeens 11 to 16 \nAdults 17 and up \nExpert level all ages \nWe will be eliminating climbers on July 14\, 15 & 28 \nThere will be 10 climbers in each category that will compete on the last day. That will be a total of 40 climbers to compete for the TITLE “CHAMPION CLIMBER” in each category. \nPrizes Total $500 \n1st  place – $75 \n2nd place – $35 \n3rd place – $15 \nAll competitors get a T-Shirt with their entry. Shirts will be given out on the last day of the competition. \nEach contestant climber gets 4 practice climbs during the week anytime between the hours of 12pm to 8pm Monday – Friday. \nAfter you have used up your 4 climbs it will be $6 for each additional 4 climbs. \nAll climbers must wear shoes & harness while climbing in the competition. No sandals\, Zoris or barefoot. If you have your own climbing shoes and harness bring with you. We will not have any shoes for rent. \nWe will have a chalk bag for you to chalk your hands for better grip. \n  \n
